oh good lord, where has the time gone?
too much work! too little of interest going on in life! that, and amy lost her password, apparently. at least SHE used always write something when no one else would. i'm tired. worked too much today, now catching up with the view (embarassing, yes, but taylor hicks was on today!) and having a glass of wine before bed. with stew's help i rearranged my living room this weekend. it's all cozy and nice although a big fat mess. i have also been neglecting my magazine and newspaper reading. i went through a stack of magazines from my bedroom yesterday and some were from march. march! only a few more stacks to go...
in other news, i visited the nephews yesterday (also neglected) and they were fun as usual. which reminds me of two things. first, a question. do you think it's incredibly hip that a 7-year old listen to Disturbed while he plays video games? i mean, i knew he liked green day but disturbed is so hanson! ;) anyway, i was watching him play and oohing and aahing at his electronic stakeboarding skillz and wondering how the hell he came to like heavy metal music and know all those skate rat moves. HE'S ONLY SEVEN! then i learned what a nose grind is vs. a tail (?) grind but i've forgotten already. kids.
oh, and the other thing was, as i walked past their bedroom where a neighborhood friend was playing with them, i heard one of the boys says "that's the hole where babies come from. that's why it hurts so much" EEK! i just let it go and kept walking.
gotta go, it's craft time with rosie and barbara.

Heavy metal and skate moves at age 7 does seem a little advanced. Must be the influence of the videogame industry. Or the skateboarders. duuude.
But, not so advanced I guess, if you're already chatting about the baby coming from place.

Wow...I'm not sure I knew about the baby hole until I was 20. Maybe they're going to be OBGYNs when they grow up.
Ben Weederman. That's a funny name. Oh - I just saw that it's Wedeman.
