swanky!
last night i went to bed at 9:15. then i woke up around 5am and read for a while. then i went back to sleep until 9:30. (whee!) anyway, my point is, as you can see in the picture above, i bought a new side chair today! down at the Restoration Hardware outlet in Leesburg. it was $200 off! also bought a lamp at $30 off (that's not it in the picture). and a couple of lampshades. one of which is quite hideous. which reminds me, anyone need a cat? stupid sammy has already gone at the chair, i knew she would but it still made me scream. maybe i should have left the shrinkwrap on... and so now apparently i need a new couch.

what a lovely chair. and what a lovely apartment. someone obviously has excellent taste, and an eye for a bargain!

yes, robyn, the chair is lovely. perhaps some cat off will work. poor sammy. good furniture and cats don't mix.

That chair kicks ass. It's a cool new color to introduce to your place, too. And extremely grown up I might add. I assume English Paul will be passing out in it come Friday.
Your fun purchase is making me want to buy something now... but I lost all my money on Keno this weekend.

Ok, So I went to a breakfast this morning where I heard Mitt Romney speak. (My company was a sponsor.) Anyway, last night I found an interesting site and thought I would share.

This group certainly has very diverse political opinions. I think some of the questions are skewed in the way they are asked and the options for response that are given.
I would be interested in know what you all found your best match is. I don't know how to post a new thread so I will have to do it this way.

My best candidates only came up to 55%, and Al Gore was tied for first place. Guess I'll be happy no matter who wins. Or pissed. Doesn't really matter either way I guess.

straight arrow took the quiz? cool. and you're a tree hugger, apparently. ;)
my top 3 are christopher dodd, joe biden, and dennis kucinich (really?). with obama & hillary (gasp), gore, and edwards rounding out the top ten. in reality, i'm torn between edwards & bill richardson. wow, when did i become a communist?
master bling, do you still have your Uncle Sammy for Prez sticker?

Oh crap, Hillary came up first for me. Also interesting, Obama didn't even MAKE my list. Well I'm definitely keeping this Hillary thing under wraps, I'm growing a little tired of hearing from people who don't like her or want her in office, but can't give me a single valid political reason. (I assume someone here will respond with a "How about because she's a big C!" Don't let me down people.)

interesting, michelle!
i've been surprised at the lack of people who don't want hillary in office. even my fathuh is on her side. who knew?

Robyn's in Florida, Daytona Beach to be more precise, with the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. The weather's great and we're all the better for her valorous vacationing with Reids.
Well, gee, Kucinich would surely agree! Soldiers, who never should have been sent, send out and back home please. No more blood for oil!
