funny you should ask!

hah! good, timely comment, nancypants! :) i just took the tree down tonight. i was all prepared to leave it up until my birthday. but then i came home tonight and just didn't feel like turning the lights on and so i figured it was time. it didn't take nearly as long as i'd imagined (and dreaded). and the cat enojyed jumping into and out of the empty boxes before i filled them up with artificial tree and ornaments. ah, back to normal. it's not nearly as depressing as i thought it would be....

it's loverly. very cozy looking. i love being timely. all's well here in florida. i took my wreath off the door yesterday, so i de-decorated also!!!!

i didn't really clean off my coffee table after i took that picture. maybe i should do that now instead of being a slug on the couch watching 30 Rock!
